Thinking Out Loud

This week is FLYING by! I hope it is for everyone else out there too! Doesn't it feel like yesterday was Monday?! (FYI, thank God it's not!)

Time for some more Thinking Out Loud!

-I went outside for a run yesterday and it was AWESOME. My boss and I covered 6.5 miles and it just felt GOOD. Weather was perfect, pace was decent, good mix of hills and straights. It was one of those runs that make you realize why you love doing it so much. After a long winter stuck inside, it was much, much, MUCH needed.

-Peter was back in C-Ville this week visiting family and I told him that if he DIDN'T bring back cupcakes from Sweet Haus, he wasn't allowed back in the house. Needless to say, he knows that when he shows up tonight he better have a cupcake.... or 20. ;)

-I need some good core workouts. Am I the only one who gets bored with the traditional ones? Like, I'll add core work in AFTER my other workouts but as far as just, doing specific core stuff.... I'm over it in like, 5 minutes. I guess that's why it's my weakest area. ha.

-As much as I love Quest bars, I'm starting to like the Muscle Pharm  combat crunch bars just as much, if not more! The cinnamon roll (or something like that?) is SO. GOOD. My protein bar collection is pretty intense so for me to say this, that means they're pretty darn incredible.

-I got to hang out with my favorite kiddo before our run yesterday! I'm no where near ready to have kids but I so enjoy the time I get to hang out with my niece. :) She was so ready to go on our run with us, it was great. She even started stretching with us... man, I wish I was as flexible as she is!

-And finally, I know I've said it before but... seriously, why can't I live in Waco, TX? All I want is to hang out with Chip & Joanna Gains... and for them to completely redo my (fictional) house. They are the BEST.

Hope everyone is having an awesome week!

Sarah

  1. Jealous of your gorgeous weather! We got a taste of it for a while there, and then it decided to snow yesterday and it's still not letting up. Le sigh. I'm trying not to complain since at least it's sunnier and warmer than it was, but I'm more than ready for winter to finally say goodbye!
